Life360 Community Services is pleased to announce a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 16 in celebration of the opening of The Y Gardens – A Life360 Community, a 41-apartment complex designed for low-income families and young adults. The Y Gardens is located on the corner of National Avenue and Chestnut Expressway in Springfield, Mo. The ribbon cutting is a public event, and the community of Springfield and surrounding areas are invited to attend. CDC and local health department regulations will be followed.
“The ribbon cutting ceremony will introduce The Y Gardens to the community and public and celebrate a fresh start for each and every one of its residents.” said Ted Cederblom, CEO and President of Life360 Community Services.
The complex includes 18 one-bedroom units and 23 two-bedroom units with a specific set of units for foster youth aging out of the foster care system. To qualify for housing, residents must fall within income guidelines.
“Our goal is to provide housing stability and affordable housing to all the residents living at the development. We want to create a sense of community,” said Newkirk. “I look forward to building relationships with the residents, helping and empowering each individual with the tools and resources they need to be successful and to achieve their goals starting with safe and stable housing.”
